NEW YORK, December 19, 2025 (FINANCE INTERVIEWS) — Law firm Seward & Kissel LLP has announced the promotion of Theodore Kaminski to partner in its Investment Management Group.

Kaminski advises investment managers of hedge funds, private equity funds, and commodity pools on matters including private fund formation, structuring, and regulatory compliance. He joined the firm’s New York office in 2018 after receiving his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School.

The firm cited Kaminski’s contributions and longstanding commitment to client service as part of the decision.

With Kaminski’s promotion, Seward & Kissel now has 61 partners across its New York and Washington, D.C. offices. The firm also promoted Catherine LoTempio to counsel in the Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group and Anna Weigand to counsel in the Investment Management Group.
2025 has included a series of organizational changes for the company, including the election of Bresler to Management Committee Chair and the arrival of eight lateral partners across several practice areas.
