NEW YORK, December 15, 2025 (FINANCE INTERVIEWS) — Insurance company American International Group, Inc. has appointed Scott Leney as Regional President of AIG Asia Pacific. Leney will oversee operations across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Leney joins AIG with more than three decades of experience leading risk and insurance operations in the Asia Pacific region. He most recently served as Head of Asia Pacific at Everest Insurance, where he managed business strategy and portfolios throughout the region. Prior to that role, he spent 25 years at Marsh McLennan in senior leadership positions, including Head of Risk Management for Marsh Asia & Pacific, CEO of Marsh Australia, and CEO of Marsh Pacific.

Leney will begin in his new role on February 1, 2026, pending regulatory approval. Chris Colahan will depart the company in connection with the transition.
