SoFi Names Vivian Tu as Chief of Financial Empowerment

SAN FRANCISCO, November 5, 2025 (FINANCE INTERVIEWS) — Financial technology company SoFi Technologies, Inc., a provider of digital financial services, has announced the appointment of Vivian Tu, financial specialist and CEO of Your Rich BFF, as the company’s first Chief of Financial Empowerment. According to the company, Tu will lead new financial literacy initiatives and oversee the launch of a Generational Wealth Fund program scheduled for 2026.

Tu, a New York Times bestselling author and content creator with an audience of more than 10 million followers, will collaborate with SoFi on developing financial education content across multiple platforms, including social media, television, and member events. In a press release, the company stated that the initiative aims to enhance financial confidence and literacy among consumers facing record levels of debt.
