Teradata Names John Ederer as Chief Financial Officer

SAN DIEGO, May 5, 2025 (FINANCE INTERVIEWS) — Data analytics company Teradata, a firm specializing in cloud-based analytics and data platforms for artificial intelligence, has announced the appointment of John Ederer as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 12, 2025.
According to the company, Ederer will oversee all aspects of Teradata’s financial organization, including accounting and reporting, corporate development, financial planning and analysis, internal audit and controls, investor relations, tax, and treasury. He will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Steve McMillan and join the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Ederer most recently served as CFO at Model N, a cloud revenue management provider. Prior to that, he was CFO of K2 Software, where he led a transition to subscription revenue and guided the company through a sale to Nintex. Earlier in his career, he held financial leadership positions at TIBCO Software, SAP, Business Objects, and Ariba. He began his professional career as an equity research analyst in investment banking, covering enterprise software and healthcare sectors.
